Nord oder Ostrichtung oder von auen beschattet. Ab Mai bis Oktober auch im Garten an einem Platz mit lichtem Schatten, aber auch dem Regen und Tau ausgesetzt. Temperatur: Im Sommer im Hause 18C am Tage, nachts bis 10C absinkend. Im Winter reichen auch 12C. Die Art Masd. coccinea ist sogar mit 6C zufrieden. Gieen:
