These some on a flat piece of cardboard, and I was concerned. It goes together well, and has held up to Highschooler use for a month so far. It looks nice, but is nothing fancy. If you are looking for any sort of resistance for your paper towel for tearing, this product probably isn't for you. It is weighted enough for it to not fall over, it looks nice enough to be fine but not nice enough to want to steal. Exactly what I was looking for.
