Um die Bewegungsfreiheit nicht zu behindern, darf eine Gamasche das Fesselgelenk nur knapp umschlieen, muss aber zum Fesselbein hin gengend ausgeschnitten sein. Die Hufglocke endet hingegen direkt oberhalb des Kronrandes, der Bereich des Fesselbeines bleibt also ungeschtzt.
