A very pale soft purple gray background. Touches of light yellow buttercups in the garland. Measures 66 by 54 inches. Nice sturdy cotton or possible cotton blend. It has a lovely drape. It has light yellow spots when held to the window. Looks lovely on the table. These spots may respond to soaking and a day in the sun. This was not attempted

Older picture books have better stories and hand drawn illustrations

Fun to read aloud, old-school, easy read by Diane DeGroat about classroom friendships, honesty, kindness, and fixing mistakes. K-2nd grade will enjoy.
So many of today’s children’s books lack depth, depend on dumb fart/poop jokes, are tied to tv shows/movies, or overfocus on moralizing and turning kids into little adults. Read for fun with your kids as often as you can! Check out children’s authors/illustrators from the 80’s and 90’s!
