Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. My Blue Heeler tears up almost all of her toys if they’re not rubber. This ball is SO durable and she loves it so much!! We’ve had it for 5 months now. She chews on it every day for long periods of time and it’s showing pretty much no wear and tear. I keep wondering if I’ll ever have to pull out the second one from the box lol. It can be hard to squeak with one hand, but it’s easy enough with 2 hands or if you step on it with your foot. It’s hilarious that every time I squeak it she licks her lips. My girl never actually squeaks it while she’s chewing on it, which is actually a plus cuz it doesn’t get annoying when she’s chewing on it for long periods of time. I also love that the ball helps clean her teeth because of the spikes and the size is larger so it’s easy to take it from her while playing fetch. Overall a fun, durable dog toy!

My dogs are brutal with these toys. I really like them as the spikes act as a tooth brush, and the dogs love knawing on them. There are other spiked balls like this on amazon, but this one is of better quality. It lasts a lot longer. The squeaker does not last long, the dogs teeth push it into the ball, you can hear it rattling around in there.
