Lewis is a really funny person and I love how he discussing the way transitioning can affect multiple people, like parents, friends, and teachers. I also feel very related to by this book despite not having the same experience he did. It’s a testament to his amazing writing that he can so well encapsulate the Transgender Experience, whilst still telling a personal story. Highly recommend.

I’ve grown up around trans friends, and LGBTQ community. My uncle, as well as my sibling are gay, and gay culture has always been something I’ve grown up with.
