This joints outer shell is machined to 1. 795 in. o. d. with a flanged edge and is designed to be driven into the bushing bore on the gear case casting side of the TJ LJ XJ MJ Dana 30 or 44 frontend housings to replace the stock rubber bushing. The material and fitting is very good. I would recommend to size down if you want a perfect fitting suit or if you don't have time to alter. I purchased a 4T and 5T for a 5 year old with longer torso compared to legs. The 4T ended up as a perfect fit with no room to grow whereas for the 5T the pants ran a little long but other pieces were perfect.
