D. 1942", denoting 1942 manufacture by Jeffersonville Quartermaster Depot of Jeffersonville, Indiana. It is the early WWI style, constructed of OD#3 (khaki) webbing with two closure snaps. Easiest DIY ever

So a Toyota dealer will want $40+ to replace this filter, but for $10 and 2mins you can easily do this yourself.
There’s a great 1:30 how-to vid on the YouTube, drop the glove box (one push) open the little door, remove old filter (note the arrow) and put in the new one, close door, close glove box, enjoy better flow and fresh air. This filter is a HEPA so it’s a performance upgrade over the OEM, fit is perfect, seems sturdier than the OEM, great value if you’ve got 2mins.
