Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. These are my vizsla's absolute FAVORITE toy. I mean, she doesn't leave the room without bringing at least one. We've bought several of these exact toys now and they're surprisingly durable- we've even put a few through the laundry. She loves to snuggle, nibble, and carry this toy like a security blanket. These are the big ones, so they get a little discolored from her grabbing them around the belly. The squeakers are pretty few and far between so it's generally not noisy unless she's super bored or excited. Get it, your dog will love it and they're cheaper than some of the small ones.
