When worn unknotted, it falls to 27 inches approximately. Grey seed beads are placed between each pearl to ensure comfort and flexibility for the wearer. This flexibility enables the wearer to place a knot in it, thus reflecting the style of the period. It is beautifully finished with nickel free silver plated
