Bakelite Office TrayPeriod German Bakelite office tray with a sort of diamond textured bottom. This was most likely for setting you pens or ink bottles on. The raised design would help give loose ink a place to settle, rather than soaking everything around it. It could also be a sort of coaster for a bottle or something similar. It measures about 6 5 8" X 4 5 8". It is a little dirty with some minor scuffs and scratches, but is otherwise a nice tray.
