When the vehicle was manufactured, under felt was glued to the back of the carpet around the tunnel & foot well areas to provide some thermal & noise insulation. This assembly was then glued into place when fitted into the car. So, generally when the original carpet is removed from the car, the under felt is damaged

I had heard such great things but I’m really left a little disappointed. I got the light tinted version, and it’s much darker than anticipated. And the smell is not great. It kind of smells like my grandpa’s trailer and not in a nice, nostalgic way. As a sunscreen though, I have no complaints.
